Have you been wanting to start a podcast, or post more on YouTube or Instagram, but keep putting it off because you don't feel ready yet?
You're not alone in that, but here's something that might take the pressure off…
No one is good at content when they start.
Not even the people you really admire, the ones whose posts you save or whose emails you open every single time.
They just kept going long enough for people to stop seeing the rough early stuff.
Which is really the opposite order most people assume.
You don't wait until you're good to start posting. You get good because you started posting.
Pick one thing, a newsletter, a podcast, videos, whatever fits how you talk and think.
And commit to doing it consistently for a year.
Think of a comedian building a new set. They don't write an hour alone in a room and perform it cold.
They try small bits in small rooms, night after night, and keep whatever gets a laugh.
Every post you make this year is your version of that same small room.
What people reply to, share, or ask more about is telling you exactly what to build next.
A webinar, an offer, a book…
But most people never even get that far. They quit long before a year is up.
So if you want to be the one who doesn't quit, and you're ready to start putting your work out into the world, here's what to do.
Pick your one thing, and pick a schedule you can keep, daily if you can, weekly if that's the honest truth.
Then keep a running note of what each post covered and what people said back.
And by the time a year passes, you won't be guessing what your audience wants.
You'll already know, because they told you every time they clicked, replied, or shared something.
Cheering you on,
