We'll let you in on a little secret about sales funnels: you're not supposed to build all of them.
Crazy coming from us, right?
So if you're looking at the endless list of funnel types online and thinking "I need to set up a squeeze page funnel, a webinar funnel, a challenge funnel, and an application funnel before I can launch," you don't.
Most businesses run on 2 or 3 funnels, and they didn't build them all at once. They picked one, got it working, and added the next one later.
The question isn't "which funnels do I need." It's what am I trying to accomplish right now?
Because different funnels are built for different jobs.
One funnel's designed to collect emails. Another's designed to make your first sale. Another's designed to sell a $2,000 course. They're not interchangeable.
But once you know what you're trying to accomplish, the decision is simple.
Here's how it works:
Trying to build an email list? → Start with a lead generation funnel. Give away something valuable in exchange for an email address.
Trying to turn leads into buyers? → Build a low-ticket buyer funnel. Sell something small (under $100) to turn subscribers into customers.
Trying to sell a premium offer? → Use a webinar funnel. Give yourself 45 to 90 minutes to teach, build value, and pitch.
And over time, the funnels connect. You start with one, and when it's running, you build the next one that connects to it.You're not launching everything on day one.
So where do you start? It comes down to picking the right funnel for where you are right now.
That's why we mapped out the 9 most common funnel types, what each one does, and which one to build first based on where you are.
